 and going back and forth with stories and teasing.

I seriously had the biggest freak-out moment (besides that one time when I was walking all unsuspectingly into the Calvary Bible College dorms and there stood Gracia Burnham).

The broski and I took a quick trip down to catch Sanctus Real and J.J. Heller on their last concert of the Promises Tour.. it was double motivation/bonus to be able to go down and join my B.I.L and his two oldest kids.

Did I ever mention that I love live music? It's one of the best things ever.

There were 3 other bands that played that night, but I was mostly stoked to see one of my favorite singer/songwriter artists.
Those other guys just might show up in a Music Monday post.. but that remains to be seen ;)

The Best Day Ever

Holy smokes, it's been a year already! You know what they say, time flies when you're having fun! ;) Since I didn't really blog at all about the Best Day Ever that happened last year, I thought I would steal a Q&A idea from some of my favorite photographers . Five Minute Friday: After

It's the week After Easter... Resurrection Sunday... celebration of New Life and Power over Death.  Last week was good.  I had some good reads last week: Love to the Uttermost , The Jesus Storybook Bible , Galatians , John , The Story of Hope .  I listened to a Resurrection playlist that was over 8 hours long so I don't think that I ever made it all the way through.  I had encouraging time with my church family here as we celebrated the Truth of the Gospel. And now, the Week After, I am feeling a little ...overwhelmed? let down?   Because After Easter I have only 3 weeks left of class.  And After Easter I only have one week left with my Moving Friends.  And After Easter I only have a month left with Friends who are here for school.  And After Easter life seems so.... well. anti climactic?  Which is all ridiculous because the whole beautiful thing about the week after the Resurrection is purpose and hope  Before it was me the hopeless and helpless los

interruptions

You know how life is not always what you were expecting or planned? Yeah... my life precisely. Hence the phrase, "Life is an adventure." Because, well, it is. You see, I've been skiing for 10+ years and this year was no exception! I had the opportunity to go on an awesome sauce weekend with some work friends to Telluride : friends, fresh powder, skiing, too many slopes to choose from, Colorado goodness - how is this a bad plan ???  Well it wasn't.... until the unexpected happened and I found myself relaxing on the side of the mountain waiting for my Ski Patrol buddies to come rescue me from my broken bone dilemma. The moral of the story is: never assume that it won't happen to you.
